Our favorite holiday is just around the corner and what better way to the mark the season of love than with a beautiful Valentine’s Day wreath. Here are some ideas to get you in the romantic mood. How about a gorgeous and simple wreath made out of white burlap or tissue-paper pom poms. Or make a bold statement with a paper rose wreath made out red card stock. These ideas would also work perfectly as wedding day decor. The possibilities are endless and sure to bring love to your door.
In such a fast-paced and digital place like the Bay Area, we are so lucky to have The Poetry Store who offers the simple and beautiful gift of poetry. Silvi uses her red royal typewriter to entertain guests by writing poetry wedding favors. The poems are one-of-a-kind and written on-the-spot about any subject of your guests choosing. She even types these poems on beautiful paper matched to your wedding’s theme. Can you imagine anything more romantic, unique and appropriate for your wedding? Your guests will be blown away by how she listens and captures their emotions. The Poetry Store is definitely the diamond the haystack!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! I’m so excited for this year. We have so many fun and unique weddings coming up, including a flash mob ceremony and backyard oasis reception. We are also planning our first destination wedding in Hawaii and I found this amazing company called DK Designs that I had to share! The owner Diane specializes in handcrafted clay flowers and can create anything from bouquets, centerpieces, and even favors. The flowers look incredibly beautiful and real. They also offer an eco-friendly and everlasting alternative to real flowers. You will fall in love with DK Designs just like I have!

One of the biggest challenges when it comes to wedding and event decor is transforming the space. However, these ribbon walls from The Heirloom Shop are a beautiful and cost-effective solution to dress up a boring wall or cover something that you do not want to be seen at your event. They are perfect for a dessert table backdrop or photo booth area and will add that special touch to your event.

Remember those animated flip books we played with as kids? Well, flip books are making a great comeback! Using a short 10-30 second video clip, you can turn a special memory into a palm-size story with pages that re-create the event. The possibilities are endless! Use your flip book as a save the date or how about a sweet post-wedding gift capturing your first dance. Even better, set up a flip book station at your wedding and invite guests to step behind a camera and make their own custom favors. Everyone will have a blast creating their own skits and fun!
