I’ve been so excited to share Alice and Hans’ wedding from earlier this year. This couple wanted a chic, modern wedding and chose the Bentley Reserve in the heart of the financial district as their perfect setting. The banking hall with its dramatic chandeliers was ideal for their ceremony and later transformed into their lavish reception space. Every detail from the invitations to the fabric-like cake reflected their elegant and sophisticated style. And Alice the bride was beyond stunning in her wedding gown and later in traditional Chi Pao gown. The city cheers “congratulations” to you both!
Rebecca and Greg are the most gorgeous couple. And their wedding day was just as stunning and perfect! They knew that they wanted to make an impact with their wedding style by bringing in a great black and white damask print with bright red touches. Every last detail brought dramatic elegance from the damask ceremony backdrop to the brilliant red centerpieces. It was an amazing day with great food, beautiful people and incredible romance. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of such a wonderful day! Congratulations you love birds!
Denise and Blake’s wedding was the perfect wedding to kick start my season. This gorgeous couple had a clear vision for their wedding and the whole day was like a perfect scene out of a romantic movie. With the ceremony at Mission Santa Clara and the reception at Hotel Valencia Santana Row, their wedding had some tradition with a whole lot of modern glamor, beauty and incredible romance! And talk about those ruffles on Denise’s train, so spectacular! It was obvious that these two are more in love than ever! Congratulations you two and we wish you a lifetime of happiness!
I’m so excited to finally share this wedding with you! This past year, I had the pleasure of helping Sakura and Gelston plan and design their entire wedding. After months and months of planning, every detail of their wedding became so personal to me. The lovely couple envisioned an elegant, traditional and intimate wedding with their closest family and friends. We chose the magnificent Kohl Mansion in Burlingame as their backdrop and incorporated a palette of blush pink, soft violet and cream to set the tone for a romantic evening. Sakura means cherry blossom in Japanese and we scattered this motif throughout their decor. The guests danced through the night to a live jazz band that resembled the Ella Fitzgerald era. The highlight was a surprise by Sakura’s mom who performed a Japanese dance for the couple in a stunning traditional attire. The day was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful couple to celebrate it with! Congratulations or in Japanese, Omedetou, you love birds!
Darcie and Alex got married at the beautiful Mountain Terrace up in Woodside. The forecast called for rain all day and even up until the ceremony it was uncertain whether the festivities had to be brought inside. However, just as guests arrived the rain stopped, the clouds rolled away and a rainbow appeared. Darcie has some Hawaiian heritage so this was a sign of good luck. There was a magical mist throughout the whole evening and everything turned out better than what they had planned for. “Our wedding was perfect,” Darcie said.
