The first time I met Ariel and Dennis, we had an instant connection. They’re the sweetest, most easygoing couple and not to mention we share a mutual love for cats (see their engagement shoot). The couple envisioned an intimate and simple wedding with their close family and friends. Since most of their family was coming from abroad, they thought what better way to thank them for coming than to treat them to the Californian coast. The Half Moon Bay Golf Links served as the perfect location and we chose soft palettes of blue and white to complement the beautiful scenery. The ceremony took place in the morning and guests enjoyed a reception lunch leaving the couple time to play in the ocean that afternoon. It was the perfect way to start their new lives together! Congratulations to my fellow feline lovers!
The smallest details on your wedding day goes so far. Take these beautiful flowers frozen in ice cubes. They add a touch of elegance and freshness that your guests will definitely appreciate. Use distilled water boiled and then cooled for especially clear ice. And use only edible flowers grown to be eaten. You can also try fresh mint, herbs and fruit to add a hint of other flavors as the ice melts.
I recently had the honor of attending the Grand Re-Opening of the SF Maritime Museum at Aquatic Park hosted by Global Gourmet Catering. With $15 million museum and ground renovation, it’s no wonder why this is the most anticipated event space of 2011. The museum offers breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Angel Island and you can rent a portion of the museum or the entire venue itself. The possibilities for your wedding or event are endless! For more launch party photos visit Global Catering, a proud preferred caterer of Maritime Museum.

I finally had some time to post this amazing wedding we coordinated this past fall. And what a treat it is! A college friend of mine introduced me to Karen and I knew from the beginning that she was the perfect bride! Karen is super sweet inside and out. And Abe is the most gentle and kind man I’ve ever met! They chose to have their wedding at Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside. Not only did this location boast of stunning views of the Silicon Valley but we were also lucky enough to catch the golden leaves on the vines before the end of wine season. Everything glowed that day from the landscape to the flowers and the decor, but nothing glowed more than the beautiful bride! Congratulations Karen and Abe!
Emily and Reuel are two of the most fun-loving and happy people I’ve ever met. It’s no wonder why they are so perfect for one another! The couple exchanged their vows at the magnificent First United Methodist Church in Palo Alto and held their reception at Dynasty Restaurant in Cupertino. They incorporated bright colors of orange and green throughout their wedding decor with an overall travel theme. Their invitations looked like plane tickets, their cake resembled luggages and even their favors were vintage airplane ornaments. No detail was too small and the highlight of the night was when the couple broke out into choreographed, funky number as their first dance. Their wedding was spectacular and a great beginning to a wonderful adventure ahead! Congratulations Em and Roo!
