I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! I’m so excited for this year. We have so many fun and unique weddings coming up, including a flash mob ceremony and backyard oasis reception. We are also planning our first destination wedding in Hawaii and I found this amazing company called DK Designs that I had to share! The owner Diane specializes in handcrafted clay flowers and can create anything from bouquets, centerpieces, and even favors. The flowers look incredibly beautiful and real. They also offer an eco-friendly and everlasting alternative to real flowers. You will fall in love with DK Designs just like I have!

Happy Monday everyone! We are ecstatic to start the week off with our lovely September couple Joyce and George featured on Style Me Pretty. Their wedding was filled with whimsical, vibrant and vintage details at the beautiful Crystal Springs Golf Course in Burlingame and Los Altos History Museum. We here at New Sunrise Events had the honor of working with some of our favorite South Bay vendors including Meg Perotti Photography, florist Nicole Ha Designs and Greenfish Catering. For all the vendor information, images and details check out the full feature at Style Me Pretty.

Adam and Wendy (A&W): May 29, 2011

December 7th, 2011 by Karen Pan | Comment

Adam and Wendy wanted a warm and fun wedding that reflected their unique personalities. They chose to have their festivities at the Kohl Mansion in Burlingame, which was the perfect setting for their intimate gathering. Guests were encouraged to explore the grounds with surprises in every corner. Adam who is a bridge fanatic included a game room for his fellow players. While Wendy who loves root beer floats and desserts chose the A&W logo as their wedding motif and included a dessert room that featured these floats. But it was the unplanned moments like their windy ceremony background and surprise speeches that made the day even more memorable. Photographer Ryan C. Jones captured the joy and beauty of that day perfectly! Congratulations my sweet A&W!

Ribbon Wall Backdrop

One of the biggest challenges when it comes to wedding and event decor is transforming the space. However, these ribbon walls from The Heirloom Shop are a beautiful and cost-effective solution to dress up a boring wall or cover something that you do not want to be seen at your event. They are perfect for a dessert table backdrop or photo booth area and will add that special touch to your event.
