With summer just around the corner, what better way to celebrate the season than with sugared fruit centerpieces at your wedding. You can sugar just about any fruit from lemons, strawberries, cherries, apricots and pears. All you need is to beat up some egg white and coat the fruit either half or completely. Then roll the fruit in course white sugar and leave on a bed of sugar to dry. They will definitely add that touch of sweetness and sparkle to your wedding.

When Van and Luke told me that they wanted their wedding theme to revolve around their favorite hobby video games, I knew that this would be an unforgettable wedding. True to their fun-loving spirit, they created a quirky and beautiful spin on this theme using Tetris-like blocks and brilliant fuchsia throughout. No detail was too small. The couple made their own keychain favors all with different images of iconic characters and symbols. Guests were treated to an impressive dessert bar with chocolate gold coins and star cookies. Even the ring bearer walked down the aisle as Mario. The most impressive part of their wedding was that Luke actually built an arcade game to entertain his fellow gamers. Everyone had a blast and a new found appreciate for this pastime. Thanks for allowing us to celebrate with you, Van and Luke!
Stefanie and Josh’s wedding took place on a warm, perfect fall evening at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa. This adorable couple who met at church envisioned their wedding to be a great celebration with all their loved ones, and they had an amazing community who all took part in their wedding. The bride’s sister helped with all the stationary and brought together their stunning palette of turquoise, pink and white. Their church choir sung like angels during their wedding ceremony and the reception was packed with performances from family and friends. We had never seen a more talented group! Even the groom’s sister sang a solo that was record label worth. And it’s obvious from this outpouring that their marriage will be filled with abundant laughter, happiness and love. Congratulations Josh and Stef!
